I am a professional opera singer and have enjoyed an international career for over 30 years. I have always taught singing to all ages, professionals, amateurs and total beginners. I enjoy teaching all genres from opera and classical singing to pop rock and West End musicals.
I have a vast knowledge of the voice, performance techniques, speech & drama including speech & presentation and interview techniques. My aim is to inspire confidence and self belief as well as building an excellent technique. I believe- no matter how old you are - everyone has something to offer and improve upon. In singing you improve your breathing , your posture, your confidence and your general well being.

Experience: With over 30 years of experience as a performer and a professional artist, I understand what is required to stand and perform in front of an audience, at an exam or an audition and its my passion to pass on all my knowledge.
I am currently a professor of singing at Nottingham University. I have taught in schools colleges and am often invited to adjudicate for competitions and exams - most recently at The Royal Collage of Music, London.
I studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at the National Opera Studio sponsored by the Royal Opera House. I have sung title roles in opera houses in London and abroad and have worked with some of the best conductors and directors.

In my teaching I have worked with children of all ages both one to one and in groups doing workshops.

In London I also taught Lawyers in the large Law firms including AllenOvery and Freshfields Bruckhouse Deringer.I have also worked with the elderly and with children with disabilities and autisim.
