Information about Ceri

I am a teacher of languages with more than 20 years of experience, both in the UK and abroad. My teaching has always been rated as outstanding by Ofsted. I have a very patient and student focussed approach, and I firmly believe it is never too late to learn. I absolutely love teaching, and games, fun and laughter are a regular feature of my lessons - the more memorable the lesson, the better the learning. My approach to tutoring is warm and encouraging, and my goal is to make the student feel confident, secure and able to walk into the exam room knowing they will do their very best. I am passionate about languages, and since I qualified in 2001, I have taught French and Spanish in the UK from KS2 to GCSE and A-Level in both the state and independent sectors. I have also taught English as a foreign language, from beginner to advanced, including business English.

I am thoroughly enjoying my Spanish lessons with Ceri. She is extremely intuitive and tailors the lessons to match your individual learning style. Every lesson is enjoyable, and structured in a way that keeps you focussed and interested. I can’t wait to see my progress in a few months, as I’ve learnt so much already!
