Information about Debra
Very experienced History teacher/ Head of Sixth Form and tutor. I have worked for over 20 years with a variety of students of all ages. I can offer help and guidance for History at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level well as help with Sixth Form option selection and all aspects of Higher Education. I am currently on a career break, looking after my young son.
Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Week day evenings and potentially some weekends.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: Former Head of Sixth Form at one of the best performing state Sixth Forms in the country. I have a wealth of experience in my field having been both Head of History and led a Humanities faculty. I have taught and tutored Edexcel and OCR A level and GCSE specifications.

Debra is a phenomenal teacher. She is passionate about her subject and this enthusiasm is evident to her pupils. She has in depth knowledge of changes in the syllabus and is able to clarify exactly why her student does not get an A grade on an essay, and indeed is able to communicate exactly what is needed to make the A grade. We are extremely grateful that Debra has found time in her busy schedule to tutor. Highly recommend.
