My name is Janet and at present I teach three pupils online through an Agency [contact detail removed] . I reverted to online teaching during the pandemic and found that I enjoyed it immensely. After qualifying as a Primary School Teacher in 2005 I commenced work as a supply teacher with the local authority (Neath Port Talbot) teaching in local schools on a short term or daily basis. I found I enjoyed the variety of supply teaching and it gave me a great opportunity of teaching different ages and in many schools .
Prior to teaching I worked for the Crown Prosecution Service for 13 years before leaving to have two children, I then decided I needed a career change so did an Access Course and then a BA Honours Degree in Primary Education at Swansea Institute obtaining a 2:1 degree.
In October 2020 I started teaching three boys online on a 1:1 basis and found it very rewarding to see how much they progressed.
I am a committed Christian who is truthful and honest and regularly attend Waterfront Community Church in Swansea and enjoy walking and reading .

Experience: As stated above I qualified as a Primary School Teacher in 2005 and commenced work as a Supply Teacher for the local Authority. In January 2018 I registered with three agencies as a supply teacher , [contact detail removed], [contact detail removed] and [contact detail removed] I worked as a Short term supply teacher in various state schools including regularly at Baglan Primary, Crynallt Primary, and Waunceirch Primary. Cover all age groups from Age 3-11. Generally work in Neath Port Talbot area, but have travelled further when needed. Prepared to teach at short notice and enjoy the challenge of having to adapt my teaching to all ages and working with staff and Head Teachers from all of the schools.
In October 2020 I started teaching online three different boys, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5 on a 1:1 basis I have now decided this is the route I wish to take which is why I am registering with you.
