I am a fully qualified teacher living and working in Edmonton. I have 2 children. I attended the university of East London where I undertook the PGCE primary education degree. Since my qualification, I have involved myself in many teaching programmes like ‘The Teacher Led Development Work’ among others.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher and have been teaching in Enfield for 12 years. I am qualified to teach all ages at primary school level. I specialise in KS1 (years 1 and 2) I am mainly responsible (among other things) for the teaching of phonics across EYFS and KS1. I ensure that the children are well prepared for their Phonics screening check (a nationwide reading test for all schools in England) in June every year.

I make phonics teaching fun for my children and work hard to bring out the best in them. I know what strategies to use to help your child succeed in their learning.

I also tutor children with English as an additional language (EAL) to help them adapt to school quickly so they can learn and achieve in their education.
