I am an energetic and enthusiastic tutor, with >500 hours of teaching experience. Given the current global situation, this is a key time to focus on education. It is vital that learning for children remains stimulating & exciting, and this is a great opportunity to explore the curriculum in greater detail to prepare for a return to school. These two elements will remain at the forefront of all my lessons. I have also reduced my prices as a result of the current pandemic to make education affordable for all. I study French and Classical Greek at Cambridge University. At first this seems like a strange combination, but in truth I just couldn`t bare giving either one of them up when I left school. I`ve really enjoyed the different challenges of both the modern and classical language this year. I have had previous teaching and tutoring experience providing one-to-one classes for GCSE students at a secondary school in London. I really enjoyed the challenge of teaching, the intimacy of teaching one-on-one and seeing the students progress and develop. I was also fortunate to attend a school which had great experience in Oxbridge applications and general exam technique, and can provide useful insights to my students in this regard.

Experience: I have good experience tutoring Maths, French, Latin and Ancient Greek at A Level, GCSE and 13+ plus level. I have really enjoyed enjoyed seeing the students learn and improve in the lessons, and find this really rewarding. With my support and guidance, my students have won academic scholarships to 6th form and secondary schools, and achieved fantastic marks in their GCSEs.
