My current position is a head of music at secondary school in High Wycombe. As a qualified music teacher (with QTS), I am committed to delivering high quality music, drums and piano lessons. I am confident that my experience in teaching music and the knowledge gained during my studies allow me to achieve the same level of excellence already established.

My experience working in schools has enabled me to confidently lead lessons, but also has enabled me to lead extra-curricular activities for a variety of circumstances, including bands, small orchestras and solo performers. I believe it is important to help students focus on pushing their boundaries and learn in a manner best suited to their success. I have found positive reinforcement of hard work and effort to be crucial to each student’s development and engagement. However, having worked in a variety of schools I have seen how behaviour policy works best, and believe I am competent in this area.

My studies at BIMM London have reinforced my teaching skills and I am keen to share my enthusiasm for music teaching with students.
