I am offering 3-2-1 sessions which will cost £12.50 per student for 70 minutes.

I am a creative and enthusiastic mathematician who has been teaching for over 12 years. I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges students face, the frustrations they experience in maths and the negative emotional response they can build up. As a head of year I also interact from a wide range of students and can push the brightest students from outstanding schools but also raise the mathematical self esteem for students that have never found maths easy.
I have a wide range of teaching styles that I employ on a daily basis to support students in making significant progress. I teach students from KS3 upto and including Further maths. My approachable manner puts students at ease and quickly builds their confidence. I can quickly assess their current attainment and can give them the tools to make rapid progress.

Availability: Evenings/weekends. I offer lessons on an hourly basis, but give discounts for extended sessions. I also offer intensive holiday courses and boot camps for exam preparation. I am currently offering 1-2-1 sessions for £30.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: 12 years teaching maths, 11-18, ks3 - further maths.
I have been training and mentoring other teachers for over 5 years. I have worked as an examiner in the past and have an extremely good understanding of exam technique.
