Experience: I am an LLB and an LLM in Master of Laws. During my academia I have taken various internship opportunities, for instance, whilst interning in the Research society of International Law (RSIL) my analytic skills and research skills were polished as I started to gain knowledge of International law, I worked thoroughly in drafting a report along with my team members about ‘India’s intervention in Pakistan’, worked on the petition regarding the Minority rights temple restoration projects and conducted primary research for an untitled project on women rights in Pakistan. The research conducted was of a rare breed and allowed me to push my critical thinking skills to the limits in terms of creative liberty without any set backs to the coherence and quality of research.
Furthermore, whilst working for Fazle Ghani advocates I conducted legal research, preparation of fact sheets, proof reading and drafting legal memorandum allowed me to gain a level of writing unlike before.
My legal experience was also enhanced by the work I did as an intern for the China petroleum company, which gave me further knowledge on International laws governing oil and gas and also the necessary life skills vital for interactivity, communication and collaborative work in a corporate cultural environment not native to me.
During my LLM, I was part of the Law Society at Brunel University London, where I had the opportunity to interact with lawyers from foreign jurisdictions and during my seminars learn from well-known lawyers in legal professional field and academia. The multicultural environment was especially helpful to bring foreclosure in terms of polish to the prior experience and sophistication learnt and take it to the next level during my post-graduate, I was praised by professors for excellent research, academic writing skills, comprehension, analytic skills as well as critical and creative thinking across all my modules and electives. My overall degree was awarded ‘Upper Secondary Class’ for that very reason.

I am currently working as a legal researcher at an NGO by the name Legal Forum for Oppressed Kashmiris (LFOVK), with the main focus in the area of international Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law. I have worked on a published legal fact finding report titled "Kashmir:Statehood Abrogated". I have written research papers in the area of ICL, Counter Terrorism, Foundations of HR, International Trade Law, Arbitration, Business & Human Rights, Corporate governance & Social Responsibility. My thesis paper was based on "Syria :Applicability of the use of force". Furthermore, I draft petitions, proposals and legal opinions. On the other hand, I have an expertise in tutoring A-level Law, First year LLB modules and Human rights Law and expertise in writing coursework assignments in International Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law for Undergraduate and Postgraduate both.
