Rosemary

I am an enthusiastic, experienced, well qualified teacher who loves helping each student achieve their full potential. I am patient and understanding, and always plan my lessons carefully with the individual student in mind. I have also had some experience of tutoring children with dyslexia and have attended training courses run by the British Dyslexia Association.I normally charge a little extra for helping children with special needs, such as dyslexia.
I am able to strike up a good rapport with students and particularly enjoy teaching those who are falling behind at school. It is very rewarding to see their confidence growing and their school results improving. Recent SATS results have featured improvement to level 4 and GCSE from C to A grades.
When I am not teaching I enjoy writing, and am in the process of being published.

Availability: I am available during the mornings and after school on weekdays.I also offer booster sessions and exam preparation during school holidays.

Experience: I have over 20 years experience in state and private schools, teaching children and adults. I also have experience of teaching EFL and of helping students pass exams successfully. My exam preparation experience includes SATS, GCSE (Language and Literature)Common Entrance Exam, IELTS, FCE, CAE and CPE.
