Information about Shakib
Hi!
I am Shakib. I have been described by tutees as motivational, experienced, patient and friendly. I have experience in tutoring for over six years and have a 100% satisfaction from my tutees. I am very passionate about the subjects I teach, and I really enjoy working with children and young adults.
My tutoring is always tailored to suit the individual needs and expectations. I always try to improve the weaknesses of the student by tackling each topic with them one step at a time and I make sure that I work at the correct pace for them. During my lessons I always allow the student to ask me questions about the topics I teach and I believe this makes the teaching experience more lively and enjoyable.
Graduating with a First Class honors degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Greenwich hopefully demonstrated my passion for Science and Maths. It is this passion I always try to instil in every student that I teach and to the give the motivation and drive to be successful in which ever path they wish to lead.
My aim is to provide a tailored, understanding and supportive approach towards the subjects I teach and I always bring positivity and enthusiasm, which a vital key in successful learning.
In my spare time, I have great fun debating at the University debating society and regularly organize events with other comities within and outside the university. Being a social representative, I enjoy social gatherings and meeting new people. I am keen footballer, and play regularly with the university football team. I also enjoy being an active member of both my local scouts and police cadets group. Here, I particularly relish both team building activities and also working with individuals from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. I was a prominent figure in my secondary school and was elected Chairman of the Academy School taking on the responsibility of student voice.
