I am a fully qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Association of Accounting Technicians. ACA and AAT qualified with extensive practice and audit experience working for a top 10 firm as an audit manager previously, I am now currently working in industry as a Finance Manager within the education sector looking after the finances for a large college turning over c£30m. My experience, over my 10 year career to date spans all industries, including agriculture, education, wholesale, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and professional services.

My roles have covered management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, auditing of large corporations up to £230m turnover, corporation tax of limited companies, limited knowledge of personal tax and VAT, people management and strategic and commercial decision making within a corporate organisation. I am confident and hugely experienced in delivering training across all levels, from new starters learning double entry for the first time, to delivering training on new accounts software, I have been key in implementing, to senior partners of the practice. Adapting teaching styles to suit the individual is important, I would be able to offer tuition on a one to one basis as well as to groups of learners.
My specialist areas for the purposes of training would cover most AAT modules across all levels and some ACA modules, mainly Audit and Financial Accounting.
