I am a friendly, patient and conscientious English tutor.

I am used to working as a tutor of general TEFL, though my main area of interest at present is helping learners prepare for the IELTS examination.

I am interested in, and very much enjoy, speaking with people from around the world. I like to adapt my classes to the needs of the student. I believe it is important for classes to be informal and relaxed.

I enjoy films, books, music, travel and art. I love doing creative things in my spare time. I also find time to keep fit and healthy too. It would be great to chat about some of these things with students.

Experience: I have been tutoring English as a Foreign Language online for three years, and have worked with learners of all ages and varying levels of ability. I have worked on several different platforms and worked with learners from many different nationalities.

I also have a professional background in the construction industry, working as a Design Engineer and Project Manager for several Building Services firms in the UK over a 20-year period.

I have a 120-hour TEFL certification, and teaching certificates for IELTS. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services Engineering.
