I am a qualified secondary Maths teacher able to provide tuition up to A-level in Maths. I have a gained a First Class engineering degree, A grades at A level for Maths and Further Maths and A* grade for GCSE Maths. I have experience in Primary and Secondary schools as a Maths Instructor as well as one-to-one tutoring.

I should also be able to support in GCSE Sciences and French.

My method of teaching would involve breaking down a more complicated problem in to more simple steps. I aim to help students gain confidence in how to approach problems. I will be able to provide plenty of past exam style questions which are topic specific so students can practice on weaker areas of the syllabus.

I have worked with many different types of people and therefore have strong people management skills and try to understand each individual and therefore would tailor any teaching to their needs.

Availability: Some flexibility between Friday until Sunday evening. Weekday evenings possible depending on location. More flexible during school holidays.

Note: Rates quoted are for a single student expecting to receive at least 10 sessions. If you require fewer sessions and/or tutoring in a preferred location or more than one student is to be tutored please send me an enquiry. I do charge slightly different rates for Foundation and Higher tier GCSE students so please do specify which level you would like to be tutored to and I will confirm the rate charged.

- Supported successful entry of 13+ Entrance Exam student for Maths to an outstanding (top 100 in the country) secondary school
- Supported a GCSE student (3rd retake) increasing average practice paper score from 55% up to 90% within several sessions
- Supported a GCSE foundation level student (with special educational needs) who was not predicted to pass but managed to do so with limited time/number or sessions a couple of months before the exams
- Track record for pupil progress over a few months regularly improving 1 to 3 GCSE grades. 100% success of students achieving desired grade or better
