As a Head of Department with 10 years of tutoring experience and annually marking exam scri pts, I am confident in strengthening pupils ability with both content and exam technique for GCSE and A-Levels. I have been teaching Geography at an OFSTED Outstanding school in South London since 2015. As well as teaching Geography at all school levels, I am an UCAS and EPQ tutor in my school.

I tailor tutoring sessions to address individual needs, whether that be gaps in knowledge, or teaching the correct technique to answer exam questions. Use of personal learning checklists are used upon first sessions with tutees, and the most helpful approach to tutoring can be determined. Exam papers are frequently used, including those which are available for teacher access only on many exam board websites. I strongly believe in use of previous questions and mark schemes for high attainment.

I studied Geography with Management at Loughborough University as an undergraduate, with a preference for modules in Human Geography. I obtained a 2:1 upon Graduation and was awarded the `Most Outstanding Student` across a 130 student strong course for departmental contribution. I completed my PGCE in St Marys University in Twickenham obtaining QTS in 2015.

Availability: As I am a full time teacher during the week, my availability will be after 5pm on weekdays. As I work in Twickenham and live in Wandsworth, I can cover areas in both locations and in between.

Experience: I have tutored over 30 pupils through both A-Level and GCSE courses in AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I also offer guidance on UCAS Personal Statements and EPQs.
