As a third-year medical student and Biomedical Science graduate, I specialise in teaching Biology with both academic depth and real clinical insight. I achieved top grades (8–9) at GCSE and an A* at A-level in Biology, and my ongoing medical training allows me to bring the subject to life beyond the textbook.
Biology can often feel content-heavy and overwhelming, but I focus on simplifying complex topics into clear, structured explanations that students can confidently understand and apply. My aim is not just to help students memorise information, but to develop a deep understanding that translates into top exam performance.
My teaching is highly personalised and results-driven. I begin by identifying each student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement, then create a tailored plan to help them achieve their specific goals—whether that’s building confidence, improving grades, or aiming for top marks.
Lessons are interactive, engaging, and exam-focused. I use my own carefully designed resources, exam-style questions, and a digital whiteboard to break down key concepts and reinforce learning. A strong emphasis is placed on exam technique, ensuring students know how to approach questions effectively, structure high-scoring answers, and avoid common mistakes.
I teach GCSE and A-level Biology across all major exam boards, with particular familiarity with both AQA and OCR specifications. My approach is flexible—I adapt each session to suit the student’s learning style, whether that involves building foundational understanding or refining exam technique through targeted practice.
Ultimately, my goal is to help students achieve their full potential in Biology while developing confidence, independence, and a genuine understanding of the subject.
