I am passionate about teaching, believe in knowledge transfer, all about positively impacting lives of children and young adults through education. I also possess the quality and technical skills required to bridge the gap between theoretical and technical and/or practical skills. Experience: During my PGCE training October 2014 – July 2015, at Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus. I taught BTEC ICT level 2 and 3 students (16-19 years), Systems Analysis, Database development, Visual Basic, HTML web development. In August 2015 I worked as sessional lecturer in computing for North West Kent College, personal tutor to ITQ1 and BTEC First Diploma Level 2 Subsidiary (Groups A and B). In addition to teaching across these two levels, I also taught XDIT Subsidiary Diploma in IT Level 3. For ITQ1 the units were Improving Productivity Using IT (Unit 101), IT User Fundamentals (Unit 102), Database Software (Unit 119), Design Software (Unit 120) and Word Processing (Unit 129). BTEC First Diploma Level 2 Subsidiary units were Computational Thinking (Unit 18) and Digital Graphics (Unit 6). XDIT Subsidiary Diploma in IT Level 3 the units were Digital Graphics (Unit 30), IT Systems Troubleshooting & Repairs (Unit 13) and Unit 3 - Research Techniques for the Creative Media Industries which was swapped to Unit-5-Working to a Brief in the Creative Media Industries.

As cover ICT teacher in Shooters hill Post 16 Campus from October to November 2015 across three levels BTEC Level 1 Diploma for IT Users (QCF), BTEC Level 2 IT Extended Certificate (NQF) and BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma for ICT (QCF). Teaching Unit-108 Using Mobile IT Devices, personal tutor to BTEC Level 2 IT Extended Certificate (NQF) groups A and B, and taught Unit4-Creating Digital Animation and PSHE-Personal Social Health and Economic. In addition, I delivered Unit-31-Computer-Animation (QCF) for BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma for ICT students

As IT teacher in secondary School from December 2015 to July 2016, I was timetabled to four year 7s and 8s KS3 classes teaching computer science, computing and ICT. This include Databases, Repeating Patterns, Binary and Control, hardware, flash, Python and algorithms, and Scratch. One year 10E Ib1 group, teaching European computer driving licence (ECDL). One year 10C It1 and 11D It1 groups, teaching Edexcel GCSE in ICT Unit 1(Let’s Communicate), and CAB unit 2 Digital Tools (Music Festival).

In my current role as lead teacher and head in a department of one, self-managing myself and also a year 13 tutor. I teach KS3/KS4/KS5 OCR computing and computing science curriculum, this includes GCSE Computing 9-1 (Years 10/110 and GCE AS/A Level Computer Science (Years 12/13). The units I delivered are A451/ A452/ A453 for GCSE computing and H046/H446 AS/A Computer Science. Which includes the following topics Fundamentals of computer systems, hardware, software, representation of data, programming, communications and networking, computational thinking, problem solving, computer systems, legal ethical, moral and social issues, programming project and practical investigation.
