I am currently a senior leader and history teacher in a Ofsted rated outstanding school in South West London. I have taught for over 20 years in 5 successful comprehensive schools, teaching mainly history to GCSE and A Level. I have also tutored igcse and international A Level very successfully. I have also taught English to GCSE and Media Studies to GCSE and A Level. I have also held a number of leadership positions. I am an examiner at GCSE, igcse and A Level for a number of exam boards so am very up to date with exam requirements. I try to make my sessions as interactive as possible, with a focus on exam technique so that pupils can get the best possible result. For example, in 2018 and 2019 (based on mock grades) all the pupils I tutored for A level achieved A* to B while all my GCSE pupils achieved grade 6 or above. In addition, nearly 90% of my GCSE classes achieved grades 9-4. In 2023 all of my A level students achieved grades A* to A.
