Information about Hannah
I am a Biomedical Science graduate (2:1) from the University of Birmingham and am currently working in the Blood Sciences laboratory of an NHS hospital. Starting September 2021, I will be beginning my postgraduate degree at [contact detail removed]
in Reproductive Science and Women`s Health (MRes), however, I would love to continue tutoring throughout.
I am an approachable person, believe in the equal access and importance of education and have a strong passion for inspiring the next generation. I am highly organised and enthusiastic, and always aim to do anything to the best of my ability with the highest level of professionalism. I am offering tutoring services up to A level for both Biology and Chemistry alongside Religious Studies/Philosophy and Ethics, in which I received 100% at A level.

Experience: During August 2018, I worked as an ambassador on a year 12 residential trip to the university. This was for Outreach students, meaning they were from low income families, ethnic minorities, young carers etc. Throughout the week we went to different workshops run by various departments at the university to help them decide what field they would be interested in studying if they were to apply for university. My role then extended throughout the year with guiding them through their A2 examinations and offering help with their personal statements and UCAS applications. This was such a positive experience for me as when I was in year 12, I attended the same programme and wouldnt have applied to university without the positive influence from the ambassadors on my residential. I was able to act as a positive role model for my students and it was really rewarding to see them grow throughout the week and then throughout the year be receiving their UCAS offers from universities. As part of this employment I undertook a Child Protection and Safeguarding training course.
