Hi, I’m David – an experienced educator and maths tutor with in-depth teaching and tutoring experience.

I’ve been responsible for educating many students in maths, English, ICT and Personal Skills. I’ve also led teams of tutors in large-scale education initiatives across England.

I have Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Cambridge University and various additional certificates in education gained during my career.

As a personal tutor, my focus is on primary and secondary school maths (Key Stages 2, 3 & 4) and 11plus. I can help you or your child improve their confidence and consistency and maximise their true potential.

My approach is friendly, organised and supportive. I deliver online via Zoom, sharing online resources and using a collaborative online white-board, which makes the sessions interactive and productive.

I also offer home tutoring within 2-3 miles of Watford.

The Zoom sessions and whiteboards are all recorded and uploaded to the student`s personal folder on Google Drive - so they can refer back to them and use them to refresh and revise at a later date.

I will give regular and detailed feedback on your child’s progress to the parent.

My tutoring sessions are 60 minutes. I typically give weekly sessions, but can either increase or reduce this as your needs change.
