Information about Razeea
I have graduated from the University of Warwick with a 2:1 in French and English Literature. On paper, this puts me in a thoroughly committed and qualified position to tutor French (all levels) and/or English Language/Literature (all levels). However, on a personal level, a level that contributes healthily to what I believe tutoring and mentoring is about, I am a friendly, understanding and patient teacher. My enthusiasm for the subjects I teach instigates a fun and active environment in which my students feel at ease to ask any questions and learn with a certain motivation.
Outside of teaching, I love art, yoga, writing and reading. I also enjoy cooking, which of course involves eating (lots).
Availability: Monday-Friday 10am-8pm
(weekend tuition available on demand)
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I currently tutor English (language and literature) to around 15 students at different levels, from primary school to A Level. I work to provide exciting, engaging lessons with exposure to the right tools in order to succeed in examinations.
In the past, I have had much experience tutoring both French and English. Living in the South of France provided access to a wealth of native dialect, humour, innuendo and other forms of the language unavailable at textbook level. During my time there, I was teaching English to French primary school children under the supervision of the British Council.
Prior to that, I have tutored French in various local Primary Schools in Warwickshire. These were 30 minute sessions, organised to appeal to years 4-6, involving several games and healthy repetition.I have also had experience mentoring high school children on a one-to-one basis in both French and English Literature in preparation for GCSEs.
I am well equipped to teach children and adults of all ages and capabilities, as I have much experience with people with special needs.I have a great empathy for families managing Autism, as my brother is autistic. I also have a sister who is dyslexic and have currently support a few dyslexic students. This means I am able to adapt my teaching techniques accordingly and willingly, to best suit the student.
