Hello!

My name is Will, and I`m a 23-year-old Oxford University graduate, gaining a high 2.1 in History in 2018. However, I hope this doesn`t automatically make you jump to conclusions - I can assure you there`s much more to me beyond the books! See below for a very brief, and unfortunately, despite my best intentions, quite list-esque bio!

However, the important stuff has to come first. In terms of the meat of the matter that is tutoring, I can tutor a variety of subjects up to GCSE level - although I may need a little revision crash course - but specialise in the humanities (English, History and Philosophy) beyond this. I took these at higher level in my IB course, which is just beyond A level standard, and obviously continued with History at university. However, I would also be very happy to teach below GCSE level, which is where much of my previous tutoring experience has come. I understand this is much more to do with personal engagement and patience, and I hope my references show I can also handle this!

Along with my degree, I gained 12 A*s at GCSE and 45 points in the IB Diploma (roughly equivalent to 5 A*s at A level), but I also won three rugby Blues at Oxford and was capped by the England Sevens rugby team before taking up a professional rugby contract with Wasps. A very long time ago I played the French Horn up to Grade 5, and also played a variety of other sports at county or regional level, including cricket and football (so if any unconventionally sporty tutoring or coaching is needed I might be qualified for that too!).

My rates are negotiable but around £30 an hour is what I have charged previously. I very much hope I can provide what you`re looking for, and please don`t hesitate to contact me!

Availability: The advantage of being a rugby player is lots of spare time, so please get in contact regardless of dates and I will try to be as flexible as possible. I am also available to tutor online or via Skype.

Experience: I have previously tutored several students up to GCSE level in History, English, PE, Biology and Maths, and 13+ exams in English, History, French, Spanish, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Classics.
