I am a QTLS qualified English teacher, experienced in teaching adults and children. I also have experience teaching English as a second language. Previously, I have taught all levels up to and including GCSE but my BA (HONS) English degree means I can also coach A Level if required.

I offer friendly and professional sessions for all those wishing to brush up on their English or achieve better grades in their SATS, Functional Skills, GCSE or A level qualifications. At present, I work in Adult Community Learning which ensures my teaching theory and practice are current and relevant to my learners.

During an initial session I’ll assess your learning needs and we’ll create a personalised approach centred on what you want to achieve. I tend to use a variety of multisensory methods and different teaching strategies depending on the requirements of the individual. I offer a quiet and private learning environment and variable session times and lengths to suit you.
