Information about Nikul
I`m a passionate, patient and friendly tutor who is determined to help individuals reach their full potential.
After achieving a 1st class BSc in Biomedical Sciences in 2010, I trained in Medicine for a number of years. I am now working in the research charity sector which I thoroughly enjoy.
Availability: Weekend mornings and weekday evenings from 6:00-7:30.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: I currently work at Study Buddies Education centre, where I tutor a KS3 & GCSE Science class every Saturday. In addition to this I work for Tutor Doctor as a 1-to-1 tutor in GCSE Maths/Science. I`ve had a wide range of experience in tutoring individuals of different ages. From helping lower years with their English/literacy during my time at secondary school, to tutoring anatomy to 1st year medical students. In addition to my experience described above, I also help students prepare personal statements and practice for interviews for medical school entrance.
Sessions
When it comes to tutoring, I vary my teaching methods and style. This can range from drawing diagrams and building models, to getting individuals to do a verbal/ written recall of what they have learned and completing past paper questions.
Nonetheless, the teaching methods I use within a session would be tailored to the individual and what works best for them.
