I am a Specialist Leader in Education (SLE) and geography specialist.
I have a proven track record of success at both GCSE and A-Level. I have supported other geography departments across the borough to develop effective teaching and learning strategies which has also helped to raise their attainment .
My recent tutee received a grade 8 at geography GCSE in August 2019.

Experience: I have 13 years of experience teaching in the education sector. My subject specialism is geography. I teach both human and physical geography.
With my teaching expertise and approach to education I am able to support many students to have the confidence and ability to gain high grades at GCSE and A-Level. Within my previous curriculum leadership role, both GCSE and A- Level grades were are above 90% A*-C.
I have also been an examiner for AQA exam board. I have previously tutored many students at both A Level and GCSE and for many different examing boards.
My approach is working with students that have a specific weakness in both physical and human geography topics. I support pupils with their organisation of each topic in order for each pupil to be in control of their work throughout the revision and examination process. I work on exam preparation and working through many different examination papers. I always find new and try different teaching strategies to support each learner.
