I`m currently a Maths Teacher at QE, a local secondary school in East Dorset. I have tutored many different students now with a range in abilities, ALL of which have got what they were aiming for at the end of the year, be it the elusive grade 8/9s, just a pass at GCSE or a pass at a retake from college. Last year from my top set year 11 class, 15/32 students achieved a Grade 9, 24/32 students achieved a Grade 8 or better and the entire class achieved a 7 or higher.

Availability: I`m available Monday 4-7, Tuesday 4-7 and Wednesday 4-7. Availability on weekends varies however will consider weekend sessions for a small extra charge.

Experience: I have moved back into the Dorset area after having worked in Admiral Lord Nelson School, a school in Portsmouth for almost 6 years now and prior to that I trained as a teacher in Cams Hill School, Fareham. I’m a mentor to new trainee teachers in the subject of Maths at my school, showing that I have a great knowledge of the subject and that I’m aware of how to address common misconceptions that arise in different topics, even now teaching others about the pedagogy within the subject. I did my degree in Civil Engineering so I have a solid engineering background.
