Hello, my name is Christina and I am a doctor working in a London Hospital. I have been a private tutor now for about five years after having initially gotten into it as it was something that I simply loved doing. Although it feels like decades ago, I achieved A* to As at both GCSE and A level. I was also awarded first-class Hons. in my first degree (Biomedicine).

Availability: I am currently able to do most weekday evenings as well as during the day on Saturday and Sunday.

Experience: I have been teaching GCSE and A-level, Chemistry, and Physics as well as GCSE English Language and Literature for around six years. I also have experience tutoring children at primary level with a particular focus on the 11+ Entrance Exam subjects including Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. I have taught several students with varying natural abilities. I find joy in helping all of my students to not only pass but excel. Although it often varies from student to student, my general approach is to revisit the entire syllabus, focusing on the student`s weaknesses. Closer to exams, we then begin to tackle past papers and hone in on exam techniques.
Other than this, I am a medical school interviewer as well as a textbook reviewer for a well-known publishing house. Thus, I am up to date with the current medical syllabus.
