Hi! My name is Ben and I am 26. I studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Manchester in which I obtained a First Class Degree as well as winning the Dean`s Award for Academic Achievement. I also gained an A in GCSE maths and an A* at A-level. After doing a bunch of work experience at Magic Circle and White Shoe (top US) law firms in the UK, I surprisingly decided to begin a career in the music industry which is my main occupation at the moment. However, I find myself missing the academic elements that I enjoyed during school and university in my music career which is why I am now pursuing tutoring. I am also passionate about younger people realising their full potential as I didn`t find my academic career easy. As such, I really enjoy the `mentoring` aspect of tutoring and would find taking students from the start (year 9) through to their exams (year 11) particularly satisfying.

I am on emails regularly and can promise to respond promptly and am also open to tutoring online if you would prefer.

Experience: During my degree, I tutored other students across all my disciplines (Politics, Philosophy and Economics), both in younger years and my own. I have tutored Foundation GCSE Mathematics which has given me insight into the different ways students learn new information.

I also tutored younger students aged 12-14 in drums and guitar.
