ART
My teaching is centered around what you as a student would like to learn from me, whether that be skill based, critical and creative thinking or applying for art schools. My experience and knowledge of the art education system is comprehensive, having completed GCSE, A-level, Foundation and now am on Undergraduate Degree level of Fine Art. I am a patient, enthusiastic and kind teacher, and would love to help anyone of any age or ability out with any aspect of art. I`m happy to teach casually for people who would like to experiment and broaden their understanding of art, or more formally for people who are aiming for specific grades in qualifications or applying to higher education institutes.
I am a well-versed undergraduate student studying Fine Art in London at the Slade School of Fine Art, so have a lot of experience with applying for prestigious London art universities.
I can tutor in a wide range of things, including, but not limited to:
- Technical fine art skills - life drawing, acrylic painting, printmaking, illustration, still life, video art, digital art, performance art, installation art, sound art
- Art history, theory and contemporary concepts
- Portfolio building & refining
- Art & photography exam techiniques & sketchbook advice
- Applying for foundation / higher education in the arts
I really hope we can work together to enjoy art and achieve your goals. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to meeting you.
KOREAN
I have been learning Korean for over 3 years now and can teach it at a beginners level. I taught beginners level Korean to a small group of people over the summer. They loved it and I loved it. I made all the resources from scratch including slideshow presentations, activities and tests. I can have a more relaxed approach to teaching Korean and incorporate some kpop culture and references into the lessons, or keep it more formal and strictly language based.
Let me know if this is of interest to you and I look forward to meeting you.
Availability: I am available at the weekends during the day and weekday evenings. At the moment I can also do most weekdays during the day, until I receive a new schedule for my university in February. Contact me and we can communicate about a time that is right for us.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: My past experience in art tutoring includes:
- One week of work experience in the art department of Uckfield College as a tutor to students from school years 7-13 and technical assistant
- Providing 1-1 tutorial sessions at my former Art Foundation college
- Teaching beginners Korean to a small group of people over the summer
My qualifications include:
Art GCSE (A)
Art A-Level (A)
Photography A-Level (A)
Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Distinction)
Aforementioned, I am currently studying at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, a Russell Group university and one of the most prestigious art schools in Europe.
