I am a recent Mathematical Sciences graduate from the University of Bath, having completed my degree this year with First Class Honours. I am currently taking a year out before looking to pursue a career in Actuarial Sciences.

I have always had a fascination with the logic of mathematical problem solving and seek to impart the same love of the subject on my tutees. I believe that becoming more confident and proficient with solving problems can be very rewarding as well as being academically essential.

I aim to structure the tutoring around the individual and their syllabus, assessing key areas of focus and breaking these down into manageable chunks for effective learning. Key objectives would be to build confidence in the student`s ability to learn and fostering a positive, enjoyable approach to the subject.

I am happy to tutor any age through to A-Level, including KS2, the 11+, KS3 and GCSE.

Experience: I have worked for Barracudas Activity Day camps for the past four years during the university holidays where I planned and ran activity sessions for children aged 4-14, adapting the level involved to suit the participants and their progression, including a specialism in fencing. This has given me a wealth of experience in tailoring learning to different ages and abilities and in encouraging children and young people to improve.

I have also tutored my younger brother, who has learning difficulties, through his GCSEs, and currently A-Levels, so have a working knowledge of how to respond to and plan for varying needs and capabilities.
