I have a Mathematics degree from St. Andrews University. I have experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and functional skills level, for all age groups and abilities. I believe that everyone can learn to do the Maths that they need or want to do. And I prefer to make it fun. To these ends I’m willing to work with you on any Mathematics you want.
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to tailor lessons to the needs of the individual student, without the pressures inherent in developing and delivering lessons which will be equally suitable for a wide range of individual students. By doing this, I believe excellent outcomes can be achieved.

Availability: Variable, but generally able to adapt to your schedule.
I sometimes teach in the Up Hatherley library. If that suits you, I have found it a very good venue.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Teaching GCSE and functional skills as part of PCHE training. Tutoring varied ages and purposes.
I also have experience working with students at KS3, aiming to strengthen the foundations of their maths experience, in an engaging but not excessively challenging way.
