Thank you for taking time to read my profile.
I have nurtured my passion for languages over the last 30 years in a number of ways including 1 to 1 and small group GCSE tuition and in-house language training for businesses.
Anyone, in my opinion, can learn a language if they are taught in an appropriate way and there is firm commitment on both sides.
Language learning - whether French, German or Russian is hard work and great fun. My language sessions are great fun; they are very interactive and varied as well as demanding and disciplined.
If this sounds like the right approach for you to learn a language I would love to hear from you.
I have an enhanced DBS and for the last 5 years my students have achieved 100% GCSE pass in German and French with an average grade of 8.
Availability: German, French, Russian and TEFL revision courses including revision sessions for GCSE mocks and for Summer exams. Lessons available weekdays and weekends. I look forward to hearing from you.

Experience: I am currently tutoring complete beginners in French, Russian and German, preparing business executives for international trade in business German. I also tutor GCSE students in French and German in preparation for Summer exams. I am DBS registered and for GCSE students, have achieved 100% pass rate over the last 5 years.
Lessons are delivered either face to face or over Skype, Teams or Zoom.
Homework, on request, is issued at the end of each lesson and reviewed at the start of the next lesson.
I ensure that there is a good mix of grammar, speaking, listening and reading. Written work tends to be homework so that students practise pronunciation and comprehension in lesson for most of the time.

I completed an introductory course of lessons with Hayley and was thoroughly pleased with the professional and engaging delivery. She took great care to ensure the lessons were tailored to my individual requirements and was constantly adaptive to my learning needs. Further she provided encouragement and was a joy to be taught by! I would have no hesitation recommending her lessons to any of my friends or colleagues.

Hayley is a great tutor, she has been sympathetic to our needs, she is bright and cheerful with a relaxed demeanor. My daughter responds really well to her. She brings props and makes the lessons interesting and my daughter really wants to do well for her. Great stuff thanks for putting us in touch!

Hayley took me on at short notice as I urgently needed to improve. She designed my lessons based on our initial diagnostic meeting and modified them as my strengths and weaknesses developed. A mixture of method and content in every lesson plus homework.
In my opinion a gifted teacher, amusing and gently fierce when required...
....and yes my French is improving in leaps and bounds!
