Thank you for taking time to read my profile.
I have nurtured my passion for languages over the last 30 years in a number of ways including 1 to 1 and small group GCSE tuition and in-house language training for businesses.
Anyone, in my opinion, can learn a language if they are taught in an appropriate way and there is firm commitment on both sides.
Language learning - whether French, German or Russian is hard work and great fun. My language sessions are great fun; they are very interactive and varied as well as demanding and disciplined.

I have an enhanced DBS and for the last 5 years my students have achieved 100% GCSE pass in German and French with an average grade of 8.

Availability: German, French, Russian and TEFL revision courses including revision sessions for GCSE mocks and for Summer exams. Lessons available weekdays and weekends. I look forward to hearing from you.

Experience: I am currently tutoring complete beginners in French, Russian and German, preparing business executives for international trade in business German. I also tutor GCSE students in French and German in preparation for Summer exams. I am DBS registered and for GCSE students, have achieved 100% pass rate over the last 5 years.

Lessons are delivered either face to face or over Skype, Teams or Zoom.

Homework, on request, is issued at the end of each lesson and reviewed at the start of the next lesson.

I ensure that there is a good mix of grammar, speaking, listening and reading. Written work tends to be homework so that students practise pronunciation and comprehension in lesson for most of the time.
