Information about Mohammed

I am a mechanical engineering student in my third and final year at Teesside University. I am fluent in both languages English and Arabic. I enjoy astronomy, cycling and programing.
For my lessons, I like to start by understanding my student’s best way of learning, form there I look into their difficulties and what they want to achieve from the lesson. I will start with the basics and build up from there, using examples on the way. I will try to make the lesson interactive to keep it interesting. Finally, I will go through everything with examples to ensure the topic is understood. All in all, I have a great passion for maths, and I would like to teach it to others.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I have experience teaching groups of primary and secondary school students how to read for over a year and a half. I also have done a work placement for a manufacturing suppliers using 3D CAD software.
I volunteered for NCS (National Citizen Service). I had to support young people aged 16/17 from all backgrounds to work together. This meant supporting the participants through the program which included camping, workshops, service-run sessions, team challenges, festival-themed activities and a social action project. For the social action project over £700 was raised though a sponsored walk and the money was used to paint a care home for young people.
