Hi! My name is Gemma and I`m currently a Masters student at the University of York, studying for an MA in Modern History. I studied my undergraduate degree in History at York, achieving excellent results. I`ll also be studying for a PGCE in Secondary History next year. I`m passionate about my subject and can`t wait to help you achieve brilliant results in your exams!

Experience: I have a great amount of tutoring experience: I have been a Key Stage 3 and 4 teaching assistant in History, working with small groups of students as well as working one-on-one. I have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and am fully aware of what historical skills students should be developing during the course of their secondary education. Whilst I specialise in modern history, I have an excellent breadth of knowledge that spans all time periods.
