Hello I am Elena!

Economics has always fascinated me, igniting my curiosity to understand the roles of the financial markets and their importance to the economy.

I am in my final year studying BSc Economics and International Finance at Queen Mary University of London.

I have a very strong background in the field of Economics, having studied it for 4 years. I did A-level Economics (achieving an A) and then completing an EPQ on the field of economics, specifically on the Greek Financial Crisis (achieving an A*). I have also studied Business Studies for GCSE (achieving an A). Now in my second year after taking a range of modules, I can confidently explain complex Macroeconomics and Microeconomics theories.

The key for Economics is to be able to explain the reasoning behind each theory. I am here to prepare you and provide you with the necessary skills to analyse and evaluate key economic models. As your tutor, I will provide you with detailed notes on several topics focusing on the chain of reasoning, worked exam questions and diagrams. We will be able to discuss any topics of uncertainty and clear any doubts. I can focus on any areas of concern in economics. The lesson would be flexible and focused on what you prefer, prioritising topics that you may struggle on.

Experience: I am very familiar with A level Edexcel Economics having just completed my A-levels and obtaining an A. Hence I am able to tutor GCSE as well as A level students who are doing Edexcel Economics.

I have helped current year 12 A level students preparing for their exams, clarifying and expanding their knowledge on Microeconomic and Macroeconomic concepts. In my Sixth form I was a Mentor for Economics and Maths guiding students preparing for their GCSEs and during their 1st year of A-Levels.
