Are you wanting to set yourself apart from the average student grade? Need help and inspiration on a particular coursework or project; motivation for those time pressured and lengthy exams…but not sure where to start?

Well, let me help you… I have tons of industry experience (working in Banking for over 10 years) I have a genuine interest in Business, a practical skillset to help you contextualise theory into real life Business examples – making the content you learn, engaging at every step.

Whether it’s revision tricks, a piece of homework or an assignment, I’ll aim to direct you into the correct direction and more (achieving the next grade above). I am offering insight and invaluable advice on CV writing / UCAS personal statements; having worked for a diverse number of corporate firms - I have first-hand experience of knowing what SKILLS employers look for, and how YOU should showcase your skills effectively.

I focus my teaching on using fun and relative business examples within this economic climate; (helping you to achieve those higher end grades); in addition to teaching you specific exam technique which includes understanding how and where to use quantitative and qualitative data when it comes to ‘application/ analysis’ and ‘evaluation’, which is KEY to gaining the HIGHER end marks in the exams, in those (really tight) timed conditions!

Availability: Available upon request. Weekdays: Evenings (Thursday-Friday). Saturday (Mornings or evenings)

Experience: Industry experience:

Wealth of industry experience (over 10+ years) in real world of business; lending in the areas of investment banking and financial services. Having worked for major corporate firms (such as Bank of New York, NatWest Markets); I have gained first hand experience, I possess a very strong business mindset; thus I have a great in-depth understanding of current/past key issues and affairs of the economic climate, key functional areas of businesses such as HR, CSR, Stakeholders, financial statements and quantitative data.

Teaching experience;

I have a diverse amount of experience teaching Financial Studies (LIBF), Business A Level, and GCSE Business. My A Level Business classes last year gained high ALPS grades of 2 & 3. All students made significant improvement, reaching above their predicated grades.

I completed my PGCE in 2019, and have been teaching and tutoring ever since, alongside working as an Edexcel Examiner. My strengths within the class room include: creative feedback and planning, organisational skills, efficient student tracking via Excel, in addition to behaviour management. I am also happy to guide prospective PGCE students in this field.
