Information about Christel
I have been tutoring for fifteen years working mostly from personal recommendations but also with various tutorial agencies. Prior to working as a tutor I had a successful career in the school environment. I enjoy the challenge of working individually with students and also am glad to offer the flexibility of tutoring. I am pleased to say that all my students who took their GCSE English Language and English Literature this year did not get below Grade 8 and in fact most of them achieved a Grade 9 which is very pleasing. .I offer both face to face and on line tutoring. I have an enhanced DBS police check certificate.

Experience: I have been tutoring for 15 years after a successful career in education. I am familiar with the new format of all the English exams and of course all the different exam boards. I try to instil in my students the enthusiasm I feel for the subject.

Our son is learning a lot from Christel for GCSE English Literature and Language. He looks forward to his lessons and Christel`s style helps him feel comfortable expressing himself, which is motivating him to learn more and improves his confidence. She gives him weekly assignments to work on and is focussing on the topics he finds hardest, such as the long questions. On his last mocks he did a great job.
