Information about Christel
I have been tutoring for fifteen years working mostly from personal recommendations but also with various tutorial agencies. Prior to working as a tutor I had a successful career in the school environment. I enjoy the challenge of working individually with students and also am glad to offer the flexibility of tutoring. I am pleased to say that all my students who took their GCSE English Language and English Literature this year did not get below Grade 8 and in fact most of them achieved a Grade 9 which is very pleasing. .I offer both face to face and on line tutoring. I have an enhanced DBS police check certificate.

Experience: I have been tutoring for 15 years after a successful career in education. I am familiar with the new format of all the English exams and of course all the different exam boards. I try to instil in my students the enthusiasm I feel for the subject.

Christel is an amazing tutor. She is always on time and is very adaptable to the texts my daughter studies at GCSE. Despite the texts being quite uncommon, Christel is able to help my daughter better understand the texts. Christel has helped boost my daughter’s confidence significantly and has immensely improved her exam technique. She frequently gives feedback and encouragement; her passion for english is evident.
