Information about Lily
*Only available in the holidays (Summer, Christmas and Easter)*
Hi, I`m Lily and am a 1st year Medical Student at the University of Nottingham. I attended Southend High School for Girls, where I completed A levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and French A Level and also took Further Maths to AS Level.
I worked hard to achieve 12 A*s and 2 As at GCSE, and 2 A*s and 2 As at A Level, with an additional A grade in my Further Maths AS Level.
In my own time, I volunteer for several charities, which involve working with children, and also enjoy playing Flag American Football for my university.
Please also get in touch if you are looking for a tutor for your child for the 11-plus. Now is the perfect time to think about tutoring over the summer holidays for it.
I would like to think that my enthusiasm for learning makes learning fun for others too!
Thank you for reading :)

Experience: Throughout my time at Southend High School for Girls, I thoroughly enjoyed mentoring students in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, working one-to-one with students in my school.
I was also a "maths angel," which involved tutoring students online (from my school and from local primary schools), through a scheme run by the Head Of Maths at my school. From this, I have learnt how to work with students of a variety of ages and develop not only teaching skills, but also the ability to communicate with younger students in a friendly and approachable manner.
I have past experience in tutoring Maths, amongst other subjects, to GCSE and A Level students and it was a pleasure to see these students develop their understanding and succeed in a subject I really enjoy.
