I love teaching Maths and I am a successful home tutor with a unique open efficient style. Fantastic references and track record. I tutor at all levels from Yr7 up to Further Maths A Level. 5 years ago I was proud to have helped a local student achieve 3rd highest GCSE Maths mark in the country. I enjoy teaching all abilities and levels though. I am not a stiff boring teacher but a real person who finds it easy to relate the Maths subject and to people. Over the years I have come to know the Maths syllabus backwards and know where to concentrate effort to get maximum marks for minimal pain. I adjust my teaching style so each student not only gets a fantastic grasp of the subject area (that they can remember) but also really enjoys each session. I teach techniques to make even killer maths areas significantly easier. Over the years tutoring I have been shocked by the inefficient teaching in some of our schools. I have a successful career outside of teaching but Maths tutoring is now a significant & pleasurable part of my life (as well as playing tennis really badly!). I am fully enhanced DBS checked, have a 1st class Maths degree but my main talent is being able to communicate the subject area easily and make it a pleasurable experience for all concerned.

incredibly warm, sunny personality and made my daughter feel at ease instantly when we met him
