Hi! My name’s Rowan. I am a recent Physics grad from Durham University available to tutor 11-18 year-olds Physics and Maths (and Chemistry up to GCSE). Having achieved outstanding grades throughout school (A*A*A* at A-Level) and university (first-class honours), I know the tricks to explaining tough concepts and nailing exam technique. I also have extensive teaching teaching experience, from working in a Kumon learning centre and primary school while in sixth form, to teaching A-Level Physics whilst at uni.

Experience: A-Level Physics Tutor: Tutored A-Level Physics whilst university. Identified the key problem areas for the pupil and addressed those in detail. I used my own experience to provide exam and revision coaching.
Kumon Tutor: Helped students understand new mathematical concepts, as well as showing how to apply their understanding effectively.
Year 3 Teaching Assistant: Taught maths to groups of year 3 pupils. Kept the attention of the students by working through the questions with them when they got stuck.
