Information about Joe
I am a graduate in English Literature & American Studies (American politics, literature and history) at the University of Leicester, consistently achieving 1st grades on my work.
I have recently moved from Watford, where I had five students ranging in age from 7 to 16 and from KS2 to AS level. I currently have two students - one adult learner for English and a GCSE student, both of whom will happily give references of request, as will my previous students.
My current occupation is lead editor of a medicine journal for 1.5million users, previously working in advertising -both very writing and detail orientated. My work is of a high standard, notably I have been published in print in four newspapers including The Sunday Times.
Previous to attending University, I went to Watford Boys Grammar School where I was selected based on academia and sociability to tutor students up to GCSE level (often with learning difficulties) before and after school hours. I also privately tutored GCSE and Key Stage 3 level students of a variety of ages, outside of school prior to going to University. At WBGS, I studied A-Level English Literature & Language Combined, History and Biology. My undertaking of an English based join honours degree at University makes me a qualified tutor for all levels and abilities preceding undergraduate. English and History are undeniably my academic fortes, and I have experience with AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, and recently Eduqas.
Please get in touch to discuss any specific requirements or queries which you might have. Good luck on finding a tutor.
