I have a strong academic background and a passion for mentoring. I tutor the subjects GCSE English, A-Level Government and Politics and Law as I have a very strong academic record with consistent good grades in these subjects. I have worked as a private tutor to children and young people between the ages of 6-18 for over 5 years; I am very confident in my ability to provide a valuable tutoring experience, and in my private tutoring have conducted one to one lessons with students in need of individual and focused help.

As a tutor, I am capable of conveying relevant information, simplifying difficult concepts to students and encouraging intellectual curiosity. I am a highly organised individual both personally and professionally, and am capable of organising and planning lessons, keeping abreast of targets and deadlines and managing multiple clients.

My enthusiasm for tutoring is rooted in my own love for learning. I aspire to impart to students this appreciation in their own studies, and value creativity in achieving this goal. Furthermore, I am a committed tutor, and strive to tailor the tutoring experience to the individual. This is something that I address with my clients in the initial stages, and encourage input from both the student and parents/caregivers in order to generate an effective and agreeable strategy.

Experience: I have been tutoring privately for over 5 years, across a broad range of ages, and also volunteer as an English tutor at a state primary school. I have a 2.1 Law degree from the University of London and have also studied English Literature at degree level, at the University of Southampton. I am a confident, organised tutor who takes great joy in teaching. In my spare time, I volunteer with a children`s charity supporting looked after children, care leavers, and homeless young people with advocacy.
