Information about Veronica
I am a South African born and trained high school Maths teacher who has lived, taught and tutored in the UK for the last 12 years. While raising two children I moved from full-time to part-time teaching and also increased my tutoring business. My husband and I have recently moved out of the London area to south Somerset, so I will be resuming my private tuition in my new local area. Additionally, in line with the recent situation where normal tuition is not possible, I will be commencing online tuition.

Experience: I attended university and did my teacher training in South Afrca where I taught full-time for more than ten years, and part-time for many more. Most of this experience was gained in Cape Town, where I lived until 2007. I have tutored Maths ever since my last year of school and have a passion for explaining and helping others understand Maths. Since living in the UK, I have undertaken various short courses and have kept up to speed with curriculum developments and changes that have taken place within the various exam boards.
I have worked as a supply teacher, cover teacher and tutor in the UK.

Veronica tutored my daughter on a weekly basis throughout Year 11. She was always very clear in her explanations, patient, friendly and approachable. Thanks to Veronica, my daughter`s confidence and capability grew enormously throughout the year. Although not a natural mathematician, my daughter really enjoyed her sessions with Veronica and today we found out she achieved a level 6 in her GCSE which we are absolutely delighted about.
