Maximus

My name is Maximus and I am an up and coming professional saxophonist in York City Centre area. I have over 7 years of experience playing the saxophone live in venues such as Sage One and Newcastle City hall to name a few.
I play both classical and jazz/contemporary saxophone. As well as specialising in the saxophone, I play the guitar and the piano and study music theory regularly.
I am very passionate about music and I pride myself on my determination to assist my students in anyway I can. Whether you want to achieve music qualifications such as abrsm exams or to just progress with an instrument, I will ensure you achieve to the best of your ability, but more importantly, enjoy creating music.
I usually teach between 11 till 7 weekdays, and I can accommodate weekends if required - however these times could be adjusted to fit your needs.
I am currently studying a music performance degree at York St John university, so practice rooms are available for lessons. - due to the coronavirus pandemic, all lesson will be taking place online for the foreseeable future.
