I`ve graduated studying Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, having received a 2i in all three years, I`ve also recently graduated with Distinction for my Master of Data Science Degree at Durham University. My Masters dissertation focussed on short-medium term earthquake forecasting in the area surrounding Japan using convolutional neural networks. I also studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics at A level achieving A* throughout.

With over 2000 hours tutoring experience, I am a well experienced Mathematics tutor who has worked with a wide variety of students at all levels (including primary, KS3, GCSE, A level, Oxbridge/other entrance exams and university level maths). I can tutor Mathematics/Further Maths at any level, along with GCSE Chemistry and Physics. I typically use examples to demonstrate principles/patterns and then guide the student through similar problems to help reinforce these ideas and commit them to memory.

I’m a very patient person and really enjoy the sparkle other people get when you explain a concept to them and they get it! I understand how hard Maths can be, when a problem is in front of you and there’s no obvious first/next step to take it can be extremely frustrating. Though the feeling of success when you finally spot what you need to do is what made me fall in love with Maths!

Some of my other hobbies include badminton, rowing and rugby when I get 5 minutes breathing time.
