Hi there, I`m a secondary school teacher with a passion for Computer Science education. I`m thrilled to offer private tutoring services for students who are keen to excel in their studies. This year, I have received the National Teaching Award of "The Digital Innovator of the year" by Pearson, and I am also a Digital School teacher lead for Primary and Secondary schools in my local area.

Tutoring Approach:
I understand that computer science can be a complex subject to grasp, but I have a patient and supportive approach to teaching. I`m dedicated to making sure that my students feel confident and comfortable with the material they`re learning, so that they can achieve their goals.

My Style:
My tutoring style involves creating a collaborative and interactive learning environment. I encourage questions and discussion throughout each session, and aim to ensure that each student leaves with a deeper understanding of the material covered.

Computer Science Topics:
I do teach Computing and Computer Science, including programming in Python. I cover all topics: AI, cybersecurity, networks and communications, hardware and software, the main components of the CPU, binary operations, Boolean algebra, you name it!

Spanish speaking:
In my spare time, I have been doing one-to-one sessions of Spanish speaking since 2016, and I am now offering Spanish conversation online.

Experience: I have extensive experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, specifically focusing on GCSE paper 1 and paper 2. In addition, I also teach KS5 Computer Science A-Level paper 2 and IB Computer Science. My background as a secondary school teacher has given me the ability to create tailored lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each student.
Ah, and probably the most relevant experience... I am also a GCSE OCR examiner for paper 2!
