Sophie

Hello, my name is Sophie. I have a BA (Hons) in English and Drama and a Post Graduate Diploma in Arts. I am currently applying for teacher training and have been tutoring since 2016. I work in a Post 16 Learning Centre as an administrator and as an Alternative Provisions Tutor for children who suffer with debilitating anxiety and/or depression.

Many of my students have excelled in both academia and confidence. I am very patient, caring and reliable, I have a keen interest in both these subjects and will go above and beyond to ensure students succeed. I work alongside the AQA board but can adapt to OCR as and when.

I can help students reach top mark quality as well as teach them how to utilise revision timetables, organisation, exam preparation and essay writing. All of these aspects will help them move onto Post 16 learning with some useful self developmental tools.

Availability: I am available most evenings after 17.00 and weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I currently work in a learning centre but have privately tutored for 3 years. I also work as an Alternative Provisions Tutor for children who are no longer in school due to mental health issues.
