Hi, I`m Rory!

I’m a recent graduate with a First-Class Master’s degree (MMath) in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, a top 3 UK University for maths in 2024. After securing several assessment centre offers during my graduate job search, I now work as an actuarial trainee at Phoenix Group in Life insurance and pensions.

My main focus when tutoring is to make learning engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. I believe that when a student is having fun, they’re far more likely to absorb information and develop a genuine curiosity about the subject. I particularly enjoy linking mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios—this helps students see the "why" behind the topics, which is often missing in school curricula.

I firmly believe every student is capable of surprising themselves with what they can achieve. I aim to help students unlock that potential, no matter their starting point.

Availability: I’m available for tutoring on evenings and weekends.
